After-School Child Minder / Babysitter for Warm, Busy Family — 3 Children + New Baby Arriving August

We are looking for a reliable, kind, and proactive child minder/babysitter to support our family during after-school hours and some weekend mornings.
We currently have three children, ages 7, 4, and 1, with a new baby arriving in August. We are hoping to find someone who can become a steady, supportive presence in our home and help keep the afternoons and evenings running smoothly.
The role would ideally be:
Tuesday–Thursday, approximately 3:00pm–8:00pm
Saturday mornings, hours to be discussed
Responsibilities would include school/daycare pick-up, helping the children transition into the afternoon routine, supporting play and activities, preparing simple meals or snacks, helping with bath/bedtime routines, and keeping the children on track with daily expectations such as brushing teeth, changing clothes, and winding down for the evening.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable caring for multiple children, understands the importance of routine, and can provide a calm, warm, and structured environment. Light child-related household help, such as tidying up after meals or activities, would also be appreciated.
The ideal person would be:
Reliable and punctual
Warm, patient, and confident with children
Comfortable managing different ages and needs
Able to support routines without relying heavily on screens
Comfortable preparing simple meals/snacks
Experienced with toddlers and school-aged children
Able to help with bedtime routines
A good communicator with parents
Experience with babies or newborns would be a bonus, especially as we prepare to welcome a new baby in August.
We are hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys children, can help create a calm and supportive rhythm in the home, and is interested in a regular ongoing role with our family.
