English Tutors in Galway

| After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Harvard College, I have worked for two years in the Academic Writing Centre at NUI Galway, for one year at Hamilton College in New York, and for one year teaching tutorials in Philosophy at NUIG. I offer extensive individual sessions focused on reviewing prior work to identify strengths and weaknesses in writing and then provide individualized instruction to meet those needs. In addition, I have experience in teaching and creating exercises to foster discussion and participation which I incorporate into my tutoring. I have experience editing academic writing as well all the way up to the dissertation level.

| My name is Queva I am 20 years old and I am a third year English and Global Media student in NUIG. I am very outgoing and enthusiastic and believe it is important that there is an element of fun involved in the education of children to ensure that they remain interested in learning. As I am an English student, I have a lot of experience with reading and could help a child that may struggle with this. I have been a babysitter for 7 years and in this time I have helped out with homework along with various other activities.

| I am a college graduate in English and Social political Science. I am about to start a masters of education in English and CSPE at the National University of Ireland Galway. As a tutor I find that it is important that the student is able to gain proficiency of the English language for academic use. This includes the ability to think critically and then convey those ideas eloquently using English. As a tutor I have strong communication skills and the ability to be creative with lesson plans . I posses interactive teaching skills in order to stimulate the student to think critically. I have good listening skills and the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationship with students.
