Job Requirements: This position is to work alongside the mother while she will be on Maternity Leave for 8 months, and then the father when he will be on Paternity Leave for the next 4 months Salary: Negotiable Days: Monday - Thursday Hours: Approximately 4/5 hours a day between 7:30am to 3:30pm (hours negotiable) Duration: 12 months Childcare responsibilities: - Feeding and changing - Following the daily routine of the baby - Continue with a well-established sleep routine for the baby - Knowledge of introducing solids - Help with weaning - Cook healthy & nutritious snacks and meals for the baby - Arranging activities like reading, music, going to the library, and outdoor activities like messy play, attending playgroups, and going to the park Housekeeping responsibilities: - Managing dishwasher and bin tasks - Washing baby's clothes - Folding and putting away baby's clothes - Making baby's bed - Keeping the kitchen, dining area, family room, nursery clean and tidy Qualifications & experience: - Minimum of two years’ experience - Up to date First Aid - Garda Vetting - Excellent references Candidate requirements - Fluent English - Non-smoker - Swimmer - Cooking skills - Be comfortable with a dog - Driver (not essential but would be a bonus) Other: - Occasional babysitting may be required in the evenings & weekends - Must have a genuine interest in children & become part of their family - Must be organised, independent, reliable, fun & energetic
