| Hi, my name is Rachel, I am an 18 year old student living in Manchester but I'm originally from Northern Ireland. As part of my Duke of Edinburgh award scheme, I have tutored primary school aged children in music theory alongside their qualified teacher. This gave me valuable experience and I was able to learn from their teacher who had over 10 years of expertise. I learnt the importance of creating engaging and fun lessons, as it's clear that children will not learn or take in information if it's presented in a boring way. I also tutored young people undertaking their GCSE Russian and French examinations while I was in sixth form which gives me a wider range of experience in different age groups and different levels of education. I am studying to be a Primary School Teacher, specialising with Mathematics. I have worked with children of all ages and abilities through my work at a Sport Summer Scheme, Children's Liturgy Groups, Drama Societies and when teaching in India in 2013 and 2015. I have also been a mathematics tutor for two years.

| I have tutored all levels of students throughout the past 5 years. I am a Human Biology graduate and am now studying Medicine, so my specialty is very much biology but I have up to A-Level knowledge in all sciences. The science subjects can be very challenging and going through so many forms of exams and schooling I have unique ability to tailor my tutoring to what will suit the student best.

I've been a babysitter for about 3 years and part of this task is helping children with their homework. As I am still young, I believe that makes me approachable for younger children. I am well up to date on the curriculum for the GQ and AL assessments in place in Northern Ireland. I am passionate about giving children a head start in their secondary education, and so I would love to have the opportunity to tutor your child!

| Hi! I'm Ellie, I am currently a student at QUB, studying Politics and Philosophy, but before that I spent a year in Spain as an Au-pair really improving my skills in teaching due to the nature of the job. I primarily worked in teaching English as a second language to young children but am more than willing to expand my remit. With this, I bring a caring and fun yet firm when necessary approach to tutoring, encouraging the student to explore how the subjects can interest them and expand their own understanding.

During my time at the Girls Brigade I am also a group leader when it comes teaching the children dances for the annual display and by doing this have made me gain more confidence, responsibility along with team working skills but also independence.

| I have given private tutoring lessons in French for more that 3 years now and I have worked as a French and humanities teacher in an International Baccalaureat (IB) school for a year full-time.

| My teaching experience, along with previous tutoring and undertaking exams myself, I am aware of what teachers and examiners are looking for in students answers. I am very flexible and alter my teaching style to suit my student so that I can provide the best help to develop understanding of the subject. As a teacher, I understand that it can be difficult for each and every pupil to receive the individual level of assistance they may require in a lesson and so my aim as a tutor is to see my students thrive in confidence and understanding of their subject. Many topics seem daunting to begin with but my aim is to build the confidence of my students and to provide as much support and understanding as possible so that they achieve results to the best of their ability. | I am currently a university student that has a flexible schedule due to online learning, and am looking to find something to fill some of my time. I study economics at Queens University Belfast. I am from the United States originally. I enjoy school and have learned there are a multitude of ways of learning and hope my skill set can help kids during Covid. Due to the fact that I did not take A-Levels if that is the material you're looking for help with I may not be the right person.
