Fun, supportive, academically-successful tutor - 3 years experience - in person or online :)
| Hi - I’m Laura - I’ve recently completed my A-levels at St Paul’s Girls’ School in Hammersmith and I’m looking for more experience tutoring during my gap year. So far I have quite a bit of experience informally tutoring at Homework Clubs and had a stint mentoring a few Key Stage 1 pupils in English over my GCSE Summer. I am currently tutoring a few families ranging in ages from 7-15, but would be more than happy to tutor kids of any age-range. I have completed English, Politics, and Physics A-levels and will be applying to study English this Autumn but I am also very confident in tutoring a wide range of subjects at GCSE level and below, as I was very successful in my grades. Hope to hear from you and more information/references are readily available upon request! - Laura :)

GCSE/A-Level Maths & Science Tutor - Imperial Engineering Student
| 3rd Year Electronic and Information Engineering student at Imperial College London. I have 3 years' experience tutoring Maths & Physics both in person and online and I am very familiar with GCSE & A-Level specification. My lessons aim to develop understanding of a topic from the ground up rather than just making students memorise lines in a textbook. This is achieved through frequent use of examples and analogies which students can visualise and relate to. On top of this I regularly provide exam practice and feedback so that students become more confident in applying their knowledge and are not intimidated by the pressure of exams. Please feel free to reach out if you have further questions and I hope to teach you soon!

I am an effective and patient tutor who helps her students reach their goals.
| Hello, my name is Sabrina and I am a recent college graduate about to start university. I studied Biology (AQA), Chemistry (AQA), Maths (Edexcel) and Spanish (Edexcel) at A-level and achieved A*, A*, A and A*, respectively. I also achieved all 9s in my GCSES including, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, History, French and Spanish. I am fluent in both Spanish and French, so I am able to confidently tutor people at the beginning of their journey in learning these languages. I was a Chemistry and Spanish mentor for Yr 11 students, and I tutored in KS2 Maths, both for over a year. My aim, as a tutor, is to help my student improve greatly, reach their goals and hopefully enjoy the subject more. For lessons, I always plan ahead and set up some worksheets, mini-tests or any other materials needed, but I also leave a lot of room to be flexible as I understand that different students have different abilities and strengths. I also aim for my students to techniques that will allow them to be able to problem solve (in all subjects) and reach a point where they are able to cope with challenging problems all by themself.
