I have a passion for teaching. I am very friendly and thoroughly enjoy my time spent with students.
| Education: A Levels: A*, A*, A; GCSEs: 11 A*s September 2019 – - University of Leeds Medicine MBChB Year 3 September ####-#### - University of Leeds International Health BSc Tutoring work: I have been tutoring local students in KS3 & GCSE Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics - I have been tutoring over 5 students of a range of abilities over 5 years - I take pleasure in teaching students to leave them feeling better equipped for their exams. It brings me immense pride when they show improvements in their studies. I focus on how to effectively revise, understand key concepts and excel in exams. I am a tutor for 12 students in Medical school admissions at JCoSS (Jan 2021-September 2022) - I have been running 10-part sessions for two years running, with students who aspire to go to medical school - I run these sessions over streaming with up to 14 students per session. Head girl of JCoSS (Sept 2018 - July 2019) - I was lucky enough to be elected the head girl of my secondary school, where I learnt the importance of both taking the initiative and working within a small team. I have also worked other jobs such as a waitress and bartender.

University graduate in Astrophysics, with a passion for the sciences, maths and history!
| I was trained in teaching as a tuition teacher in extracurricular studies of English and Mathematics when I was a teenager. I worked as such for about 5 years before I had to relocate for my university degree. I am fond of the sciences (physics, chemistry, biology) and mathematical subjects, and would love to be able to teach someone what I know! If you have any difficulties on school work or projects, I usually employ methods to help you understand the topic better at hand, assisting your own mode of thinking. If you have any learning disabilities and are having difficulty in that aspect, I can assist! I have had experience teaching children with learning difficulties and I understand how difficult it can be to learn things sometimes. Hopefully you'll have a blast learning from me!

A friendly, approachable and enthusiastic tutor keen to help tutees reach their full potential.
| My name is Tamar and I am an architect student. I take great pride in developing individualised tutoring programs for my students based on their specific needs and goals. I have three years of tutoring experience in a wide variety of subject areas, but I specialise in Art, Maths and Chemistry. My sessions will cover a variety of topics, where we will discuss the relevant knowledge of the topic and work through a set of questions together, which will help me identify the student's strengths and weaknesses. I will assign homework for that week, so that the student can review the material, practice and be prepared for the next lesson. At the beginning of the following session, we will discuss the answers and go over any areas of confusion. My lessons can either have a pre-set structure, be goal directed or act as an opportunity for students to address specific questions or areas of difficulty. Before starting tuition, we'll spend time setting those goals, creating a plan and identify their ambitions for the term and in the future. With ongoing support and guidance, students will understand how exciting a subject can be. I believe in an active teaching approach as it promotes recall and a deeper understanding of the material.

I want to help you grow, achieve and succeed!
| Teaching for me is incredibly enjoyable and rewarding and every student I have taught have found lessons to be fun and informative. I first like to understand what the student wants to be done, as every student is different and teaching is not a one size fits all. We then devise a plan whereby we set goals and targets to reach to ensure we finish everything we need to finish. I am able to aid students with personal statements, especially medicine as I myself am a second year medical student. I am also still able to help students who are studying other courses as I have done so in the past with great success. As well as all this, we will definitely help with students who have received interview offers from university and make sure they are ready to enter their interview with confidence! Biology, Chemistry and mathematics have been a passion of mine that I have been studying for the past 4 years, achieving top results within my institutions. This makes me the ideal tutor to help you to achieve the same results and confirm the result you need in your chosen subject!

KS1/KS2/SATS/SECONDARY SCHOOL/GCSE TUTOR
| My name is Yaw and I am an incoming student at UCL School of Pharmacy this September; and would like to apply for to become a tutor for your company. As a student I have always thrived to support others around me. This has been shown through running sessions with my peers after school during my GCSE years to students in my year that were struggling with Chemistry, English and Maths. Liaising with teachers we were able to craft a plan to help these students succeed and eventually they passed with grade 7s and 6s respectively. This is a trait that has continued into sixth form. Once again I held small sessions with peers who were struggling writing their personal statements and A level physics. As a very bubbly character I believe myself to be relatable and can simplify ideas to its bare bones and slowly build on the foundations to help students understand. This approach has been tried and tested and I am pleased to say that I’m proud of what I have helped these students achieve. Now I’m looking for an opportunity to help give back, present a challenge to me and permit others to succeed.
