Chemistry Tutor Buckingham

| I am a third-year medical student, about to graduate from the University of St Andrews and proceed onto the clinical phase of my training in Manchester. I studied biology, chemistry and maths at A-level and physics at A/S level, achieving A*A*Aa respectively. I am patient and friendly, with a good sense of humour, listening and communicating skills. I have experience tutoring Science and Maths up to A-level standard. I recognise that there are many different styles of learning, just as there are thinking, and that no one person is the same. The beauty of one-on-one tutoring, unlike school teaching, is that the approach can be tailored entirely to the individual's requirements. I believe in a holistic approach wherever possible- if it is possible to enjoy a subject while satisfying the curriculum, then it is preferable. I believe priorities should be optimising understanding and boosting confidence in the subject, although aims will always be set by the student.
