Special Needs Care in South Ockendon

| I have had special needs experience working in schools (Beacon Hill Academy and Treetops School). I have roughly around 3 years experience overall.

| I am an Occupational Therapist by background. I am currently a specialist CAMHS Practitioner and I specialise in supporting children with a range of neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities and developmental delays. I also specialise in supporting families and schools to help manage challenging behaviour. I am able to provide specialist and individual support to young children to support and enable daily functioning at home, school and in the community. I am able to create individual treatment activities of daily living routines and timetables for children, to support with enhance and encouraging a level of safe independence in the community and at home. I have a wide range of experience working with young people within the community and provide support for families to do so also. I am also in my final year of completing a sensory integration course which would provide me with the qualification of becoming a fully qualified sensory integration practitioner. I am able to support families with and children who may have sensory difficulties and may require sensory diets, and sensory profiles.

| I am a care worker,I can help you with morning routine, shower, get dressed, meal preparation, shopping, cleaning, transport I can help you hoist, frame, board to go from bed to a wheelchair or recliners. Stomabags are welcome. Catheters as well.

| My own children have adhd and grown up now I do voluntary work in a local school and know how hard it is for parents trying to go shopping appointment s and take a adhd child with u you no long get a date night or time for yourself

| I have worked with a 3 year old that had genetic illness that caused him to have to have a tracheostomy, mobility complications so i am trained in suctioning and tracheostomy care as well as PEG feeding. I also have experience in adults in which i am trained to care for an individual that is paralysed in which I would do personal care, catheter changes and tracheostomy suctioning as well as cough assists. I am very willing to learn more if it means the individual has the best care possible.
