| I have worked with adults and children with a wide range of special needs. I have also attended workshops and training courses related to caring for persons with special needs. I have been in the care industry for more than 25 years, and have a vast knowledge of care techniques for varying needs.

| I have been a SEN classroom teacher planning lessons that meet the needs of multiple learning abilities, behavioural and emotional needs. I have needed to modify work to best meet their reading, writing, and Math needs. I have needed to be energetic, patient, and understanding of children's abilities and find ways to promote success and an enthusiasm for learning. I have also worked as a nanny since before I was a teacher. I have continued to babysit and nany for families during school holidays and weekends. I am looking for full time work now.

I have the ability to identify children's physical, educational, social and emotional needs by providing a warm, caring environment along with stimulating play and learning activities. I have a calm approach at all times and understand that it is important to get down to children´s eye level when talking to them as well as having an open body language. I am an excellent cook (I cook from fresh and with a lot of variety of food, including fruit and vegetables every day). Music, songs, stories, construction, water, sand, cooking, arts&crafts, drawing and painting, physical play, mud kitchen, cars, slide, are some of the things your child will enjoy in my setting. | I have worked within mental health and learning disabilities for 9 years and two years in elderly care and elderly patients with mental health. I have gained my nvq level 2&3 in health and social care also currently doing my nvq 5 . I am currently a team leader in a mental health facility.

| 18 years healthcare experience. I have worked as a community carer, worked in hospitals, secure units, care homes, challenging behaviours, dementia, and specialist complex care, eg: Muscular dystrophy, MHD, brain injury, spinal injury, amputees, Parkinson’s disease.

| I am a 3rd year Primary Education student at Canterbury Christchurch University who has gained experience working with children with disabilities for several years. I am currently on placement in an SEN School and aim to teach in such schools in the future.

| I'm currently studying for my degree however I have experience in teaching forest schools with dyslexic ADHD and autistic children as well as working in a primary school as a volunteer doing one-to-one care that special needs children.
