| I have worked as a Carer for 8 years, and have worked in Luton and Dunstable university hospital for 4 years, I have experience in the following; elderly care, specialist care, defibrillator, cpr, observations like BP, sats and heart rate, diabetes, Personnal care, hoist, stirosteady, banana boards, slide sheets, walking aids, dressings, oral medication, respirator, oxygen. I’m a bubbly person, don’t believe in being miserable at work. I like to keep to a persons routine so they feel comfortable. I like to have a laugh and joke when possible. I prefer doing one on one with a patient as I feel I can then give 100% every day.

I find it very rewarding to say the lease, especially helping the clients to remain in their own homes with all their fund memories and remain a part of their community. I am a lively bubble person, I consider myself to be very patient, kind, respectful, honest, calm, and professional. I am a good listener and I always work on a person-centred basis. Care experience and the type of clients I have worked with I have over 14 years of experience working in the care industry. This varies from driving high dependency ambulances in London, to live in a care on a one-to-one basis. I have worked with a wide range of clients but mainly elderly. I have experience working with dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke deceases. I am also a fast learner and am up to widening my capabilities and knowledge, pending on requirements. I am skilled in hoisting, sara-stedy, banana boards, sliding sheets. I have had in house training in first aid, manual handling, medication management, as well as health and hygiene and personal care.

| I have worked in a college for the past 4 years with many specific needs, I am able to recognize where the learners need my help most. I find myself able to connect with students where I can build a great connection of trust and make there experience at the college an even better one. I also am a swimming teacher and have been doing numerous 1:1's over the years with disabled children and young adults. I support in the water gaining the trust of getting young learners to gain confidence in themselves with there specific needs.
