Special Needs Care in Cinderford

| I have been educating children aged 3-17 since 2012 when I graduated from university with my teaching degree. I am working as a Year 2 teacher and have been doing so for 2 years. Before this I taught children in Year 6 for 15 months and I have also taught English to children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties in a secondary school. I have previously worked in a nursery with children aged 3-5 in which I planned fortnightly learning opportunities based on a familiar book. I have worked closely with children who have autism, ADD, ADHD and ODD.

| Hi there! I currently work with adults with learning disabilities working for a charity. I work within day services mainly out on the small holding managing clients and assisting them with day to day tasks keeping the small holding running. This can include animal/cattle care, vegetable growing and gardening. I also work within the homes on a bank shift basis which can include personal care, cooking or 1:1 community activities. I have over 3 years experience within care. I hold a current dbs which I pay an annual fee for so you can access it immediately. I hold a mulititude of certificates within care including first aid and a safer driving certificate. Previously I managed teams of cleaners and ran a cleaning business, due to a knee injury I changed my career to work within care. I am passionate about delivering a person centred high quality service. I enjoy every aspect of my current work and thrive on seeing the joy on my clients face when they achieve their tasks.
