| I am a fun, patient and caring person. I love to work with children and have great experience with SEN children also. I am able to adapt to children’s requirements and wants and needs. My daughter herself was born with a short term disability which required her to have two Stoma’s which has also given me much experience for those with disabilities.

| I have over 25 years of experience caring for people of all ages which I enjoy very much. I love animals and being outdoors. Arts and crafts and messy play. Baking and gardening are a favourite. I am flexible in my approach to care and put the person I care for at the centre of the care I provide helping them make choices and have fun.

| I have provided 121 care for children and young adults (0-25 years) for 8 years. These duties have included caring for individuals in their own homes, in a local play and resource centre and accessing the local community. I have experience working with individuals with epilepsy, challenging behaviour, adhd, cerabal palsy and who are also non verbal. Over my the 8 years in my previous employment I was the registered ofsted manager, designated lead safeguarding officer and hold various qualifications in childcare, first aid, gastronomy, anaphylaxis awareness and administration of buccal midazolam.

I love anything in the arts particularly singing and dancing. I've worked as a family support worker for children with disabilities which involved taking children out and having fun, helping parents at home with care tasks or just giving them a break. In this role I worked with a wide range of children with disabilities aged 0-19 years old. I've been working as a higher level teaching assistant in a local special school for the last 7 years and work a lot with young people on the autistic spectrum. Everyone I've met is so different that despite having experience of working with a range of young people with disabilities I believe it's much more important to get to know each individual and form a fun, trusting, professional relationship as no two people are the same. I love working with people and have a happy and caring nature.
