I look at myself as more as a friend then a specail needs care worker.

I care a lot for my siblings who have autism, adhd, speech delays. I also used to volanteer and a company called mancap. Id go there every wednesday, sometimes a saturday to go on day trips out with them. Id help then understand the meaning of what they need to do in an activity they choose.
Team work is key, showing up dead on time and being able to help on individual to learn and achieve there goals no matter if they have autism, speech delay, adhd ect. I want to help them that little extra, even if that means doing the most simplest task with him everyday for the next 6 months, just so they can get the hang of it. What we might do is simple but to them it could be a really big challenge. Also i took a childcare course.
