Building those special bonds with time and attention, including my own Turkish Angora Tuxedo cat - Lovely (15 years, now passed). For the last year I have been house sitting for a client who has two dogs and a cat - an inquisitive King Charles Spaniel, a rescue dog who warms up to you over time and a ginger cat called Tom (a little grumpy!). This has been the most rewarding job I have experienced. This client can provide a reference. In addition, I have been volunteering with a local cattery for around six months. This has been incredible, getting to meet so many cats. Some more chatty and some more hungry, both young and old. The manager of the cattery can provide a reference. I can offer day-sitting, night-sitting, walking (or other exercise like small runs around the park or around the house depending on the animal), as well as, feeding, and just general attention, if there is a more vulnerable animal with needs. I routinely gave medication to my cat for a year before he passed and would be happy to assist any other ill animals by following your instructions.
