Pet Care in Pudsey

I have always been surrounded by the pets of family and friends and have a lot of experience at looking after them. Since settling down, I have got a Blue Merle Border Collie puppy whom I walk mornings and evenings. I am a very outdoorsy person and love being outside come rain or shine, and dog walking gives me a great excuse to get out and enjoy the local woods and trails. On my days off, I regularly take my dog on the long walks in woodlands, canals, hills and even as far away as the North Wales mountains. My puppy was 7 months when my partner and I adopted him from Dogs Trust. Being a rescue dog, he had a few "interesting" behaviours but working with him using "Positive Reward Training," we get on fine. He's still a lively boy but it means I'm quite used to handling a bouncy, enthusiastic dog, on and off the lead. With me you will be sure that your dog will have plenty of appropriate and constructive excise, be cared for by an animal lover. I am trustworthy, honest, reliable, and would give your dog the attention and care you would want for them. I do have an estate car which is dog safe. If I am travelling further than 5 miles then I am happy to do so but will have to charge a little extra to cover the fuel/time costs.

| We have a 10 year old Jack Russell Terrier in our household so we have learned to adapt to live with a dog. We also had a cat in the household.

| I have a dog walking business in Pudsey called Lucky Paws ( named after my dog Lucky who sadly we lost 12 months ago. I am fully insured, dbs police checked, and council approved. My van is fully caged for safety, has a portable shower for all those dirty paws and tummies, and I always carry plenty of towels to dry off, fresh water and treats. I walk dogs both off and on lead dependant on the owners request. I also carry a 50 foot training lead to allow on lead walkers to have a run around. I go to different parks and off road safe areas on my walks, as well as woods in and around the Pudsey/ Bramley and surrounding areas. | Hey! I'm Sophie, born and raised in West Yorkshire! I have great local knowledge of the area so know all the best places to walk your dogs! I wanted to combine my love for our furry friends with my love for walking so here I am. I have experience with my own cross collie-labrador who sadly passed a few years ago. I now volunteer to walk the dogs occasionally at a dog rehoming centre in South Yorkshire. I love all animals like they are my own and will ensure I take the best care when they are trusted with me. I am currently studying for a course in Animal Management to better my knowledge and understanding of pets behaviours. And on the none animal related side of things, I am a journalism graduate who loves hiking, blogging, photography and visiting new places. I currently live in a pet and child free home with my partner.

| I used to dog sit for my neighbour while she was away on holiday, during this time I would feed/walk/ play with her. I also help a friend walk her dog as she had an accident which makes her unable to walk the dog herself.
