| I am 37, I am currently an unemployed full time student at Newcastle Uni and looking to do dog walking/sitting part time. I can look after cats too as I had one for 18 years. I have a little bit of experience with birds as I owned an African Grey parrot for about 6 months but family circumstances meant I had to sell him and that was about 10 years ago. I walk dogs for a Charity have done for a few years now. I can look after or walk any size dog. Big dogs would have to be cared for in their own home though as my home isn't suitable for big dogs. I would be happy to have a couple of introductions first, with the owner present. This can be at my home or at the customer's, whichever they prefer. Dogs that are more anxious or have some behavioural issues may require several visits. This is important in my experience to establish trust between me, the owner and the dog. I don't own a dog myself but have been around them all my life as family members all own dogs and my aunt has bred different breeds in the past from Dogues de Bordeaux to cockapoos and she has a toy poodle with separation anxiety at the moment. I look after him whenever she goes away.
