I've trained dogs and had many dogs in my life who are sadly in Heaven now, so would love the opportunity to help look after yours. I have excellent references, absolutely animals especially dogs having owned four German shepherds, a cocker spaniel, a pointer, a terrier, a dachshund and a poodle. Plus various animals throughout my life from dogs, five cats, two chickens, a turtle, a horse, aquarium with many varieties of fish and even a baby lamb (my late Grandma always gave me pets for birthday presents). I am also a dog trainer. A little more about me: I'm positive, reliable, responsible, educated and speak three languages including French. I presently work as a tutor and after school nanny. I have also worked in an orphanage in Africa. I'm educated, went to Saint Martin's School of Art and an artist, which is why I prefer part time work and applying for your position. | I absolutely love dogs and cats! I live with and take care of a tiny poodle mix (Lazlo), two cats (Betty & Sudska) and a chameleon (Genga). On the weekends I love hanging out with my partner's greyhound (Ziggy - I am obsessed with him) and his gargoyle gecko (Sally). | I have been brought up my entire life around animals. My mother used to be dog trainer, and I would say I have the same passion for animals. We had six dogs in my childhood home, two cats, two ponds full of fish, twelve chickens, and a tortoise. Now my mum and sister have recently moved to the farm in Scotland, with their two flat-coated retrievers and three King Charles Spaniels, chickens and cats, so I am all alone in the animal department whilst living in London. Raising dogs and cats from a young age was a challenge at times, but looking back I am so grateful to have learnt these skills, and I feel it would be a waste to put them to use to help a family/individual out who needs it. My new jobs allows me to work from home so I can be relatively flexible. In the evenings I do extra revision for my chartership, so spending a few hours with someone's pet is something I can very much do alongside. Before becoming a building surveyor, I was a senior sales negotiator for a reputable SW London estate agency, so I have years of experience of being trusted to spend periods of time alone in other peoples homes. Happy to provide a reference is needed.
