| Having spent all my life with dogs and working with them in various capacities, including dog training, and volunteering at local animal shelters, I have honed my skills in canine communication, obedience training, and a little bit of health care. This hands-on experience has not only solidified my knowledge of different breeds but has also instilled in me a profound love and respect for these loyal companions. Whether addressing behavioral issues, or simply providing companionship, my time working with dogs has been both rewarding and educational, fostering a genuine passion for ensuring their well-being and happiness.

| I've always loved animals and I grew up with dogs, a cat and guinea pigs. I walked my sisters dog weekly during middle school for extra income, and I dog/house sat for my sister and a neighbour (separate weeks) last summer. I grew up with a cat, unfortunately I couldn't take her with me when I moved to Dundee so she's happily residing with my parents back home. My parents recently got a dog (Danish Spidz) and I usually walk her for an hour every day whenever I visit as well as teaching her tricks (I thought her how to hug on command). I understand all pets are different, and as long as I'm given instructions/guidelines (temperament, how much food/activity, any concerns like old joints,) I am comfortable taking care of a pet. As I live in student accommodation I can unfortunately not offer overnight care in my flat

| I am 22 years old and for those years I have always have a dog with my as my best friend. I have experience with big and small dogs. I can walk, feed, groom and play with them. Also I can can train them to do simple tricks. I am very friendly and kind and I will be the best company to your dog for sure.

| I've taken care of my own dog and mutiple friends rescue dogs. I am confident and experienced handling large and small breeds, as well as reactive dogs. I have experience using a range of training tools where necessary and am happy to follow a training plan if the owner is implementing one. My own dog may look cute and cuddly, which of course he is. While still being extremely high energy and previously reactive to other dogs. This is now under control and he will only join on walks if previously agreed with the owner.

| I recently finished a course in Animal Care (HNC) during this course I learned a lot about feeding and caring for a wide range of different animals. I owned my own horse and have been working with horses for 4 years, making me very confident working with and around horses. I have had a wide range of pets myself include 3 dogs ranging from a chihuahua to a large husky cross, so I am very competent in caring for dogs of all sizes. I have also owned a range of small animals including rabbits, guineapigs and hamsters and have good knowledge on feeding and husbandry for these animals.

| I am a fun, bubbly, motivated person who takes a lot of pride in my work. I have loved and owned all sorts of pets since a young age. I've had dogs, small critters, reptiles, fish and horses. My biggest achievement is my rescue rabbit who I nursed back to health and socialised myself, him and his new wifebun are my pride and joy. I have recently moved with them to Dundee. Back where i'm from I have a rescue dog who I decided to leave with my grandma as they need each other and I couldn't bring myself to separate them. I use to live with my grandmother so I am also well verse in elderly care, I also have a early learners course and am good with children. I've assisted in training many puppies and elderly dogs with behaviour issues - I use to work at a pet resort as a supervisor so I am confident with my abilities but I am always up for learning more with new experiences. | I am currently enlisted in an animal management college course. I have previous experience working in a cattery (Cats Protection Dundee) with kittens, elderly and middle aged cats. I also have personal experience dog sitting and handling newborn puppies (full 10 week duration). This included regular pad changing, health checkups and assisted feeding (where applicable). Alongside this I’ve taken care of my elderly dog (14 year old) doing daily regular health checks.

| For many years i have owned, looked after and worked with dogs, from lap dogs to hunting dogs big and small. Personally our family has had all types of animals, from farm ones to birds from Africa. Recently i have been volunteering for Underdog International to help with dogs for people that are unable to leave the house due to Covid-19. This has given an even better understanding into dog behaviour and connections with their owners through their online course and getting to know the dogs and owners in person. This has really given me a push to find work where i can combine both my skills with dogs and my excellent people skills. Happy to help where i can as i know how important an animal is as a family member.
