My goal- a dogs tail when hearing my name
| Ive had a dog of my own in the past as a child who was more like a brother than a pet to me. As a teenager I have looked after close friends dogs, if they’ve went away for a weekend break etc. I’ve always been complimented on how at ease I’ve kept the dog. Just before the lockdown took place, I was voluntarily looking after a dog in the mornings when I was at university, before my lecturers started in the afternoon. I really created a lovely bond with the dog which unfortunately stopped due to lockdown/covid restrictions. Currently in the month of July/into early August I am very flexible during the week evenings and weekends. Short notice shouldn’t be too much of an issue I would ensure the dog felt as comfortable as possible, I would make sure to communicate with owner on words that can comfort the dog, any toys they like, music, walk trails etc.
