Elderly Care in Pen-y-Graig

| I have been in the care industry for 15 years. I have experience in mental health learning disabilities complex care including brain and spinal injuries caring for people ranging from 12 years to 102 years old. I have worked in many settings such as supported living mental health hospitals (secure units) nursing and residential homes and rehabilitation centres. I have also got related NVQ2 and NVQ3 qualifications. I enjoy my job very much it gives me great passion in learning new skills and meeting new people I love travelling and watching the rugby ! I do also enjoy a game of bingo and socialising.

| Recently left my job to work back in the care sector, I have 16/17 years of care experience varying from nursing and residential , Dementia,i also have done community care. Have level 2 health and social care. Have cared for residents with swallowing difficulties, catheter, and bed bound service users. I have manual handling training. I love working with the elderly and am very passionate about this type of job.

| I've got 9 years experience in adult health and social care, as a carer and later as a care supervisor. Also, experienced with people with dementia, stroke. I can offer help with the daily routine such as prompt medication, preparing meals, cleaning, dressing, washing and personal hygiene. Additionally, shopping, companion, appointments, taking dogs for a walk etc...
