| Hi, I’m Diandra, a community support worker. I have worked in the care industry for over half a decade now and have such a passion for what I do. I have worked for a number of care agencies in the past and felt underappreciated and disheartened. I decided to take matters into my own hands and provide quality care with a difference. ! I am always putting extra into what I do to deliver exceptional service, client satisfaction is the most important thing for me. I have a Care Diploma which includes Nutrition and Hydration, Moving and Handling, Health and Safety, COSHH, safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, Medication, Duty of Care, Equality and Diversity, Communication, Person Centred Care, Infection Control, Confidentiality, Dignity. I also have a First Aid Certificate and Full Enhanced DBS check. I have additional training in Brain injury, Challenging behaviour, PEG Feeding, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Dementia. Alongside this I have completed an access to nursing Diploma, which has given me additional knowledge and skills to use within community care. I also have attended University studying Law, I quickly realised this was not where my passion lay. I’m a warm and compassionate person, suited to a much more caring role.

| I have been working with the elderly for 3 years despite being a qualified nursery nurse. For the last 3 years I have been giving live in care during the winter months, and sailing in the Mediterranean in the summer. I’ve now decided i don’t want to be climbing masts anymore! I’m looking for temporary live in care, or part time care in my area. I am a driver, and I’m very happy to go on day trips, or shopping trips. I have experience with dementia, diabetes, poor mobility, hard of hearing, and general ailments that affect the elderly. I like to think that I am kind, happy and good company. I’m trustworthy, reliable and have a strong work ethic. I’m interested in healthy eating and love cooking.

| I have been in the Health and Social care sector since leaving school in 2002. I have experience with children and completed a BTEC National Diploma Early Years and have 3 beautiful children of my own, the youngest being 1.5 years old. My working career has mainly been with adults, particularly the elderly within their own homes or a care home, which i currently work in. I am very patient kind and have a quiet and gentle manner.
