Elderly Care in Knutsford

| I am qualified in Hotel management. I have owned two restaurants in Greece and also worked for 18 years as a yacht restorer in my own company in Spain. I looked after and cleaned and cooked for an elderly English lady in Greece for 2 years and built up an amazing friendship so much so she accompanied me on my yearly holiday. Last summer 2021 I cared for an elderly couple 95 and 85 for 3 months. The lady had dementia and her husband was hard of hearing. I helped the lady to wash and dress herself. Changed nappies etc. She did have a dementia dolls which provided comfort when I started there. After a couple of weeks I found that the more I engaged with them the better they were. We developed a fulfilling routine. Cooking together, reading the newspapers daily and most importantly eating together at the table with the radio on in the background for news. It was a very fulfilling summer for me and I was sad to leave when the Polish cater returned. I am a great listener and kind and compassionate but also highly organized and call a spade a spade if needs be.

I provide warm companionship as well as a sensible approach to care and am passionate about dignity and reliability. I am registered self employed and work to individual care plans along with guidelines and terms and conditions of service. My hourly rate is £20.00.
