Dementia Care Scunthorpe

| I have been working with the elderly since I was 18 years old, on and off, since I did my nurse training, (approx. 40years). I have worked on an acute elderly ward, a nursing home, and currently work in a private care home. I have also looked after my parents with Alzheimer's disease,and have many years experience in working with dementia. I have certificates in dementia and my training is ongoing. I am passionate about person centred care, and believe everyone is an individual who deserves the care and respect I can provide. I would be available as a companion/sitter/someone to be there when you are feeling lonely.Unfortunately I am only available for posts in Scunthorpe.

I like to read, care for animals and can provide domestic and Nursing care around a 20mile radius of Winterton. I’m practical and have a dry sense of humour. | I have been working in a care home with dementia and challenging behaviour. Old and young .

| I have 6+ years in the care industry. I have worked within the care home setting and within the individuals own homes also. I have worked with all ages from 18-101. I have worked with and have a lot of experience with elderly, dementia, mental health, autism, learning disability and also challenging behaviour. I am comfortable with personal care, medication needs, housekeeping, shopping, companionship. I am also comfortable with food and fluid preperation and help with mobility. I have worked as a team leader, senior care assistant and also a care manager at a care company. I have completed many course and have many certificates to provide for evidence. I would consider myself to be a caring, hardworking, relabile and trustworthy individual who will always work to the best of my ability.

I have 18 years experience of working with the elderly in residential homes, nursing homes, and with dementia, I have been a senior carer for about 15 years, my duties include personal care, helping at meal times, adminestring medication, I enjoy working with the elderly as it can be very rewarding knowing that I have helped someone and maybe made there day a little bit easier with a bit of help.
