| I have been a parent/carer for 21 years, for a disabled child with learning needs. I have experience working also with elderly care on carehome setting, personal care, companionship, I have volunteered for local causes and charities and also at local carehomes pampering elderly and supporting events and sessions I also started a charity, supporting Carers and elderly during COVID. | I am taking care of my disabled dad, who is suffering from Parkinsons disease. I am helping him with everyday task and l escorting him for medical appointments. I was working in care home, where l get training for manual and handling and dementia awareness. Recently l made phlebotomy course and l am looking forward to get some experience.

| I've been a carer for 6 years. I've got an NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social care. I also have two NCFEs is Dementia and Mental Health. I have worked private before for two years, worked as an Activities Coordinator for over a year and was in charge of the floor in a care home as a Senior care coordinator. I love working for and caring for people with Dementia and complex care needs.

| I have worked within the care sector for 5 years since I left college when I was 18. I started off in domiciliary care and was worked out in the community for 4 years. In this time I have learnt and developed my skills in care from great training and practical learning in different environments. I have had additional training for those with more complex needs such as mental health awareness, dementia training and end of life care. I have taken senior and team leading roles whilst I have been in care and gone on to get my certificate in safe handling of medicines and administration of medication. I also spent some time working as a coordinator for a homecare agency once I had got to know the company to go on to assisting with the planning of visits, safeguarding, and organisation of the setting. This has given me the knowledge and experience to understand how great care is to be practised and given me the inspiration to take my career further within care. I have recently spent some time in a care home setting as a senior and furthered my knowledge within Dementia care.
