| My name is Marion and I live in West Lothian. I have been a carer for the last 12 years and love it. During my time as a carer, I have dealt with many different life-changing illnesses. I am very experienced at dealing with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease and people living with MS I am very reliable and hardworking. I love spending time with my clients and listening to their stories about their lives. My main hobby is gardening which I have now extended and have an allotment where I grow my own fruit and veg. I find this a very rewarding and relaxing hobby. I love being outside and going for country walks. I love nothing more than helping people and bringing a smile to their day. | I do not have qualifications in working with the elderly but my dad has dementia and have helped my mum to care for him. I work full time i Education as a nurture lead supporting children, familes and School staff with children with additional needs.

| Qualified to SVQ3 & HNC in Health & Social Care other training including; medication, infection control, dementia care, continence care, food hygiene. Worked with clients who have suffered stroke, MS, Parkinson’s, paraplegic, vision impaired. Palliative care /terminal illness. I find dementia care to be amongst my strengths. You will find me to be a compassionate and natural carer, very intuitive and good communicator, making people feel at ease. I look after people the way I’d want to be cared for. 20yrs of experience/ care companies, working in the community and private clients homes. I enjoy cooking, gardening, love grooming/doing hair / nails or shaving for clients. I can multitask and use my initiative - A deep thinker and sometimes chatter box :)
