| Hi I’m a 45 year old woman and caring person work too the best of my ability’s I’ve worked in care since leaving school with elderly people with dementia and done a lot of in house training and in community and cared for my late aunt with terminal cancer which I cared for in my own home ,then my gran mother who I cared for in her home who also was very ill with ovarian cancer, and had dementia ,and worked in a emi unit for dementia patients I’m dedicated to looking after others just like my own family . | Hi I’m an experienced carer. I have done live in care and I’m currently back in the community as a carer. I enjoy what I do making a difference to clients lives and helping them live independently at home. I have worked with lots of clients with various different needs and I have also done palliative care and after death care. I enjoy making clients lives better by helping them. It’s also good for the clients families to know that their loved ones are being looked after as it makes the families lives stress free knowing that their loved ones are being looked after at a high standard of care. I work with dementia, incontinence care, catheters, challenging behaviour, MS,MND,Parkinson’s and much more. I’m also trained to use equipment such as; hoist, stand aid, Zimmer frames, commodes, hospital beds.

My experience includes running own ward with 28 elderly patients. My most recent experience includes working with adults who are frail and have dementia. I am passionate about what I do because everyone deserves to have the best care available. I love old people because they have so many stories to tell about a life that is so different to mine. I think they are fascinating. Tasks include all aspects of personal care, washing, showering, dressing, toileting, etc. I have also worked with adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviours.

| I use to work in the Community with Elite Care....which I thoroughly enjoyed. I now work in a care home for the Elderly, mostly dementia patients, which I also enjoy. Its a real worth while job, making sure these vunerable people get great care & attention.
