| I have over 10 years experience as a carer both in the community, and also care homes, I have an NVQ level 2 in social care, working on level 3, I find the role as a carer to be very rewarding.i also have level 2 in dementia awareness, and a level 2 in food hygiene.

| I recently worked as an activity organiser in a care home, so this opened up my care knowledge to a whole number of creative care inventions that can help improved peoples quality of life and give them fun and interesting things to look forward to. And before than i worked as a 24/7 live in carer for an elderly couple, one of whom had a lewy body dementia and the other had suffered a stroke. My role here included companionship, personal care, domestic duties, meal preparation and handling medication. Before i became a live in carer i worked in a variety of care environments, from nursing & residential homes to in the community caring for people in their homes. I've predominantly cared for elderly clients, with or without mental health issues, such as Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and the like. But i have also cared for special needs and some younger clients as well.

| I am a support worker who enables people to remain as independent as possible in their own home . I have a great deal of experience and have supported Dementia sufferers and those at end of life .

| I have worked as a Community Carer for 18 months. My daily routine would be to attend my first call at 7am and I finish my last call at 9pm in the evening. I have experience with personal care such as washing and dressing, continience care, medication administration and dementia care. I have achieved my NVQ level 2 in health and social care. I am registered with Social Care Wales and have recieved many certificates in Health Care. I am trained in various areas. I have a clean DBS.
