| I am 37 and have been training for and working as a Nurse for the last 7 years. I specialised in dementia care. I have been caring for an providing advocacy services for a young person with additional needs for the last 6 months and am now providing home based personal care, enablement and advocacy services, day sitting, escort and other tailored services to you and/or your loved ones. | I have for the last few years been supporting a lady with Vascular Dementia. I have recently completed a course at Petroc college for the principles in Dementia care, and following that a Course in challenging behaviour. I love my job and hopefully I can give others the care and support they need.

| I have been looking after elderly people for 7 years in the community and within care homes. I am trained in the administration of medication and principles of dementia.

I have worked within a care setting for a number of years. Looking after service users with dementia, down syndrome, mental health and end of life. I decided to leave as my daughter had a baby last year and wanted to work part time as the hours were very long and involved night shifts. I was a team leader, which meant I was the support worker on charge on my shifts. I have prepared cooked and ordered food for 15 service users daily. My role also consisted of laundry, house keeping, medication and attending hospital and doctors appointments. On days of I would take the ladies out for lunch, hairdressers and the men shopping or to the barbers. I am honest hard working and trustworthy. I have looked after adults with dementia, ms , and Parkinson’s also individuals that just need support.qualifcations I have passed are my new level 3, dementia level 2, I am also a moving and handling trainer and teach in 2 care homes at present.
