One example of my various skills is working as a youth volunteer on a summer programme. I supervised the children ensuring they are safe and work within the boundaries and follow the rules. I had to undertake first aid training to know what to do in the case of an emergency. Make sure the children feel they are in a friendly and healthy environment. Provide comprehensive advice and motivation through the various tasks they may undertake such as team building exercises. Be able to quickly recognise signs of abuse with the children such as through their appearance and body language. Commitment. The course is over 5 weeks and takes commitment as well as patience to deal with a large group of children. I offer tutoring on science, mathematics and English across GCSE to A level and my extensive experience working with teenagers as well as in the field of customer service makes me an ideal candidate for tutoring young people to better themselves.
