I have recently graduated from the University of Exeter where I achieved first-class honours in BA English Literature and I have been a tutor for the past three years alongside my studies. I have great knowledge of all A level and GCSE exam board alongside having tutored the 11+ for both grammar and independent schools. I have also tutored the Cambridge IGCSE English as a first language and helped international students prepare for the 11+. Having tutored a range of students for the past three years I can confidently offer all levels of English tutoring, however, I only offer GCSE level and below for french! My Lessons are completely tailored to the pupil - whatever they need or want I will help them with. Typically I tend to spend the lessons talking through and explaining exam questions with them so that they understand how to answer certain questions and I also find that this flags up any gaps in their knowledge. From there I will plan sessions that will focus on their weaknesses and find often that working through these problems with a tutor slowly is a great way for them to completely understand where perhaps they were going wrong
