Hi, My name is Paula, I'm a 29 year old teacher from Chile. Before moving to London, I was teaching students teenagers at an international school as part of my Post Graduate Degree in Education. Regarding tutoring, I have taught different levels of Music, Spanish and English to several students within the past 6 years. Being in the international community and a native Spanish speaker, I have people learn Spanish on their arrival to Chile. I have worked with children of ages 2 to adults, so I’ve had the chance to work with people with various needs and contexts. I firmly believe that a tutor’s highest responsibility is to bring forth the potential of their student while developing their interest in the subject. Because of my experience working in diverse teaching environments, I have had the pleasure of creating different and fun learning atmospheres for students. My experience working with children also includes babysitting. I think the bond with children important, as the parents and children should be comfortable. I think it is key that all involved feel that whoever is spending time in their home is actually being productive and care for their children.
