I am an experienced teacher with B.Ed (Hons) Degree 1986. I studied SpLD and behaviour as part of my degree course. I have taught in schools, at an after school learning centre, and always had an interest in helping children who particularly struggle with reading, writing and spelling. In 2016 I set up 'Work of Heart tutoring.' I moved to the Radstock area summer 2018, continuing this work at my home or the student's home in my area. I have a patient, varied, structured, enjoyable, step by step approach to helping children reach their full potential and overcome difficulties in learning. I plan the sessions to meet the individual child's learning needs. I worked for the past few years with 'Equal Edn.' I am studying for a diploma in dyslexia, qualifying end of this year. I can tutor in person in the daytime, after school. I can help children with Sats. prep. I tutor Year 1 up to Yr 9.
