I have taught violin and viola to grade 7 standard, with my students gaining scholarships at top London independent schools such as St Paul's Girls, City of London School for Girls, and Francis Holland. My students have also gained places in the National Children's Orchestra of Great Britain. I am happy to provide homework help, as well as academic tutoring to a primary school level. I am a particular stickler for grammar! While I am happy to provide homework help and proof reading, I believe in the children working for themselves, and not wanting direct answers. I have always expected hard work and discipline from my students, but I think it's vital for children to enjoy the subject, have fun and look forward to learning. A good personal relationship with the tutor helps, and I love getting to know my charges!
