I have been working in child centred job roles from the age of 16, I am currently completing my PGCE of which I am part of Merton special teaching alliance with Kingston university. whilst on my course i have engaged in education from a variety setting; mainstream, PRU and SEN schools both serve and complex and EBD/ MLD. I thoroughly enjoy working with children with special needs; I have worked with the Sutton Mencap adults, whitgift Snap summer scheme, KIDs play scheme and summer clubs. I have also volunteered in 7 different SEN schools and worked in two in which I have various training to support these children. When working in play scheme I believe that the skills that children develop in schemes are significant in them develop as a child. I have worked with 6 children on a regular baisis when working for Snap in a Repsite job role, i stayed the evenings. We did this on a regular basis supporting them in the community, going on outings and caring whilst family memembers where out.
