I like helping and supporting children with learning disabilities because they are vulnerable. Boosting their self-esteem, self-confidence and seeing them develop and achieve step by step is really great. I gained some experience and enjoyed working with children with dyslexia and dyspraxia whilst working in Bulgaria. I moved to the UK about a year and a half ago and, since then, have been working as a supply teacher, teaching assistant and occasionally as a lunch time supervisor with special educational needs children (mainly ASD and challenging behaviours) both in mainstream and special schools. I have also assisted special needs students during GCSEs and other exams as a reader.
