My name is Juliet. I’m 28 years old and I hVe a psychology degree. I’m currently doing my masters in special education. My goal is to become an educational/clinical psychologist for children with all types of disabilities. To gain experience working with kids, I volunteered at Christian Community of London. I have been responsible for teaching adults and young people in everything related to Christianity. I also have been actively involved in lesson preparation, classroom management and a wide range of children’s learning activities. Recently, I started volunteering for KEEN London. Is a charity in London providing one-to-one sports and fun for children and young adults with special needs. I have supported children with learning, behavioural and physical disabilities; autism, ADHD, down syndrome, cerebral palsy. I have learnt how to monitor children progression across the term and currently, I am learning Makaton to support their communication. I also did a temporary job in Dedben park High school as a SEN teaching assistant. I supported children with learning disabilities, behavioural problems and 1:1 cerebral palsy.
