I have over 18 years experience working with special needs (complex medical needs) and have gained a lot of experience with physical disability, manual handling, gastrostomy feeding, epilepsy, wound care just to name a few. I looked after my daughter for 18 years until she passed away in February 2015 and since then I have helped out other families to look after their poor children! I am passionate about this as I want to give something back, it's not easy living with a child/adult who has disabilities and medical needs. It's 24/7 work and having someone come into the home to help out a bit or even to have someone to talk to can help take the burden off of the Carer.
