I am 19 years old and have 2 Labradors, 2 guinea pigs, 2 rats and 2 budgies. I worked in a veterinary practice for 9 months. My job included assisting with monitoring animals during surgery, preparing and cleaning animal accommodation (kennels), theatre, x-ray, consult rooms, prep room, isolation, keeping a record of basic nursing care, tending to all the animals needs, booking appointments, dog walking, speaking with clients and other basic nursing duties. Currently looking to gain some more experience to build a better portfolio.
