I have a big love for all animals. From a young age, I grew up with pets around me all the time, so I cannot imagine a life without them. We have had several dogs since I was little, but it wasn’t until I was 7 that I got my own. At 8, I started getting dog-sitting jobs from our neighbours and family friends. I enjoyed teaching the doggies new tricks that I saw and going on walks where both the doggies and I could explore different parts of town or enjoy nature. As a student that had to move away from home, I found it very hard to leave my doggie behind. But it wasn't until we had to put her to sleep this Christmas that I felt the huge urge to be in dog company again. Spending time with dogs brings me a great deal of joy. That is why I hope you will consider me for the job of walking your beloved family member when you don’t always have the time.
