Since a young age I've practically grown up on what my family would call a farm with cats, dogs, rabbits, guineapigs, chickens and some reptiles too. I've never had a fay with out a cuddle or a love from an animal. I've bathed newborn rabbits and kittens. And help feed and clean them. I have also bathed and groomed dogs, we have a very pampered pooch at home who loves a good bath and brush. We have had 3 dogs to which 2 were at the same point so I am very capable of sharing the love. I also trained a rescue pup which we got at the end of last year (2017). She had come from a different country and didn't even know how to play with a toy. But now she is able to play off the lead, sit, lie down and wait for her dinner. Although I'm not officially qualified in pet care I've done since I was little on my family farm. And if you have a heart for animals I feel you are more than capable.
