My husband and I are the loving owners of a chocolate lab and have always had dogs and cats in our lives. We have experience looking after dogs and cats of all ages, from puppies at house training stage, through to elderly, disabled, and incontinent! We understand the difficulty of having an elderly or frail pet who you may have to leave for a few days but can't entrust to kennels. We would be delighted to welcome your dog into our home, and would also consider overnight care at your home if your pet is happier there due to age or nervousness. Cats will be cared for in their own home as they are happier remaining in their own territory. Also ,our lab is not a fan! Dog walking also available, or just a check in and companionship during the day for the less active dog. We are new to this site but regularly care for the pets of friends. We learned about caring for older and disabled pets through the years, and especially when our much loved collie/lab cross developed muscular dystrophy at a young age. Still miss him.
