I have been a pet owner of dogs and cats for many years both as a child and as an adult. As a Teacher, I'm out of the house all day so owning my own dog would be unfair but having the opportunity to help care for someone else's would make up for this. I currently have a cat so very experienced in their peculiar ways and foibles!
