Hey there! I’m Ilayda, your soon-to-be bird sitter! My years of experience rescuing, raising and caring for parrots make me the ideal carer for your feathered friends. I have three cockatiels of my own and have voluntary experience providing care specifically for wild and pet birds. I offer most services including: - General day and overnight care - Play dates focused around enrichment and movement - Grooming (washing, treating mites, skin and feather treatments, nail trimming etc.) - Training (behavioural, harness etc.) - Thorough cage and aviary cleaning - Dietary support and care (homemade healthy treats, fresh chop, varied meal prep, seed diet to pellet and veg diet conversion, weight loss/gain) - Personalised care plans - Administering medication and treating sickness as advised by your avian vet More about me: - Enhanced DBS certificate - First Aid certificate - Work experience in support work and community care, and SEN teaching across all ages - Experience caring for cats, dogs, rabbits, small mammals and fish - Multiple references available upon request - Happy to travel further distances for certain visits - Based in NG5 and would be thrilled to offer pet boarding
