I got my first pet at 6 months old, a golden retriever called Marley, we grew up together and he started my lifelong love for animals. I helped my dad with walking and feeding him until he passed. When I was 17 we got another dog called Bear. This time he was my responsibility, I trained him through puppy class, Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze, and introduction to gun dog training. I've helped my dad train his spaniels and got my own dog at 20, a terrier called Ted. I've had horses since I was 6 and had cats all my life. I am now 22 years old, live with my friends and Ted the Terrier, he runs rings around us all but thats half the fun!
