I have had various housekeeping positions throughout my working career. Working for about two years at a five star resort on the coast of Sri Lanka. Currently, I am working at a hotel on a bank work basis cleaning 15 or so rooms per shift or the common areas including the lobby. I also have clients whose houses I clean. This is on a private basis or through a local estate agent. This also involves child care and various domestic duties.
I have also worked at a care home looking after the elderly. Within this I have various roles from cleaning rooms and dining areas, bathing patients, preparing breakfasts or being a friend to residents.
I have always shown pride in my work and achieve high standards at all times. I am willing to put myself out for the benefit of the end result, and being positive with the ability to get along with people are all part of my personality and work ethic.
In many instances having been initially employed as a cleaner my role has progressed through trust having gaining confidence of my employer to child care this has ranged from twins at three months old to children 3 years old.
