I currently work for a care agency in Gateshead, I care for a range of people including the elderly, disabled and people with dementia. I thoroughly enjoy my job, I love been there for company as well as making an improvement to their quality of life, the fact that quite often we as carers are the only people some see on a daily basis makes our visits even more worthy. The smile you see on a client's face is priceless. I have only been working in care for 4 months, its something I wanted to do for years and suddenly decided its now or never-I now see how many years I wasted doing other jobs. The one and only reason I am looking for a new company to work for is I have to travel quite a difference to get to work and I really need to work closer to home.
