I will start by saying I have a very caring and kind nature and people seem to be very comfortable around me as I am extremely genuine. I decided I wanted to become a care worker/support worker back in 2013 and contacted the Chatham branch of the British Red Cross. I completed adult and child safeguarding training and first aid training courses. I then volunteered in the office and followed this by visiting elderly people in the community and supporting their day to day needs and requirements; mainly meal preparation and company. My most recent job that I do on a zero contract basis; I have been with the company three years. I am looking to continue working as a carer/support worker locally.
