I am entering my final year of nursing studies at Glasgow university. My degree has equipped me with practical clinical skills, excellent communication skills and a wide knowledge about health and well-being. During my 3 years of training so far I have experienced a wide variety of different caring environments including acute hospital care settings and primary care in the community. I have experience nursing the elderly, disabled and young otherwise healthy adults in points of crisis. I have experience nursing many long term conditions including dementia, MS, cancer, asthma and stroke. My degree level education has also given me a thorough knowledge base on human disease and pathology, pharmacology and nursing theory in practice. Going beyond my education, I believe I am a very approachable, personable, empathetic and compassionate person. I enjoy being around people and nursing is not only my skill but something I love to do. I live locally in the west end of Glasgow and have easy access to public transport.
