I have experience in elderly care working in a nursing home providing care both to individuals with nursing needs and those with dementia. This involved working as part of a team and the ability to work confidently on own. Supporting people with personal care has been a very enjoyable part of providing individual care. I also have experience in mental health and more recently I supporting individuals with learning difficulties. This has involved 1-1 support with a lady who has limited mobility and learning and behavioural difficulties.. Providing assistance with eating and maintaining fluids via peg tube and personal care.
