My name is Maria Cangemi and I worked for a lady aged 91 years old with Alzheimers, from Jan to May 2013 as a live in carer and housekeeper in Canterbury. I was responsible for her mother's housekeeping needs, cleaning, laundry, food preparation, shopping and being in charge of this lady's diary, making sure she attended all appointments and social functions. Full of good humour, I found ways to keep this lady happy and active.
